Meet Nikitia

I have always had a passion for working with children. I was an elementary school teacher for eight years and am currently a School Librarian. This is a career that brings me great pride and joy and also gives me great experience supervising young people.  My 15 years (collectively) of experience working as a teacher, librarian, and off and on babysitter is what motivates me to want to work as a child care provider when I am not helping to shape young minds in a school setting. I typically care for families that have one to two children, but am flexible and willing to work in a variety of settings with multiple children.  I am the most comfortable with primary school aged children, but am willing to help families with infants and toddlers as I have childcare experience with those groups as well.  I don't have any restrictions in my daily Read more life that would keep me from providing excellent care to many families.  I love being involved with the children that I babysit and care for by finding out what they enjoy and getting them engaged in those activities (that is the teacher in me coming out).  I hope to one day provide superior care for your child so you can go to work, attend an important appointment, get away for the weekend, or take some time out for yourself.
