Hello! I recently received my North Carolina teaching license for Birth-age 5 and K-6, having graduated with a BA in Early Childhood/Special Education some time ago. I am excited for the opportunity to use my training and skills to serve the children in your home! I have experience serving children as a travelling nanny (2 months), children with special needs in their homes and in the community as a professional educator (9 months), at church as a volunteer Sunday School teacher (about 15 years), and in my own home as a parent (9+ years). I love guiding children as they develop the skills they need to succeed, sharing in the wonder inherent in their worldview, and keeping their parents intimately involved in their growth and development. I strive for excellence in my world, but I know the parents of the children I care for will always be more important than Read more me in their lives, and that is the way it absolutely should be.
