I have tons of experience with children as I was a paraprofessional for Boces for half a year and then left For the army to serve for those who can’t protect themselves I took it to awhole other meaning ! I cared for my 2 younger brothers since age 16 I’m now 26 my mom passed from breast cancer when I was 16 my brothers were 10 and 12 I had to help with homework do laundry cook clean and then my father when I turned 21 had a massive stroke he is a retired nypd officer he is blind in one eye and I taught him how to administer his own medication how to walk how to write and how to talk again he is fully capable of everything now except major decisions of which is his bills which I passed over financial power of attorney to his brother Read more which is my unclethat being said I am responsible reliable caring big sister motherly type of character I am loyal and hardworking I do as I say and act with care actions speak louder than words I have cared for an autistic teen for a half a year before the army who is legally blind and behavioral and will never mention his name for confientialiity I also have co-parented for a friend with lack of her sons fathers presence Financially emotionally and physically being active in the child’s lives giving parenting a whole other meaning that u don’t have to be blood to treat one as such sometimes your family by loyalty not by blood it’s those who are there that matter it’s the little things that count the time that u spend with them even when u don’t have money child remember everything monkey see monkey do being their role model is everything my brothers are now successful as one is studying to be a lawyer the other is assistant store manager at target however they no longer need my help nor does my father as everyone is independent and I look to help those who further need help :) or extra help /hands
