I currently work at a Manhattan all girls school as a substitute teacher and receptionist, and thus I have been enjoying my experiences working with tutoring, and babysitting 3rd-5th grade students. As the youngest of four children, I have been surrounded by children and pets my entire life. (I currently have two dogs and a cat!) I have volunteered through the Garden City Summer Enrichment Program (primarily ages 5-12) as well as for the Swimming Buddies Program at the Garden City Pool (primarily ages 8-12) and I worked at the Catholic Worker in South Bend this past semester where I spent a great deal of time taking care of an adorable 2-year-old girl. I am a new aunt, and I have been delighted with the time I have spent with my newborn nephew. I took a CPR and First Aid training class my freshman year of college (2011). I have Read more completed the necessary fingerprinting required by New York State law to work with children (2014).
