Hi, my name is Michelle Sanchez and I am currently enrolled at Westchester Community College studying Early Childhood Development and plan to study culinary later on. Two summer's ago, I worked as a camp counselor at a camp that consisted of kids age 5-8. Each group had about 20 kids and my group consisted of 1st graders. This summer camp was a 6 week program and we took the kids to the pool everyday and to trips throughout the week. I've babysat two kids from the program since (4 and 6-year-old) and would take them to their swimming lessons and prepare them meals. Each week i'd throw in a new activity. Sometimes we would bake, other times we would throw some music on and play freeze dance, go outside and play other games, paint, go over some homework, etc. Some of my other jobs include working at a grocery store Read more (A&P), pizza shop, deli, and dunkin donuts. I am currently working as a babysitter Monday's and Thursdays (1:30-6:30) with two girls (9 and 5 years old). I have been working with this family for over a year. I also worked with another family for about 5 months now. I took care of a 6-month-old and 3-year-old. I've covered for a friend who took care of kids who were aged 10 and 8.
