Hi there! My name's Gabby and I am a student on the bio/premed track at stony brook university. I recently graduated Hicksville High school and do have a lot of experience working with kids. All four years of high school I volunteered as a coach in my former elementary school for their kickline (dance) team. I always looked forward to seeing the girls and had so much fun making their dance routines and playing games with them. Two summers in a row I volunteered as a camp counselor at leaders summer camp for the first and third grade. I was responsible for watching over them, taking them to lunch, helping them with their homework(the summer camp included half a day of school and half a day of recreation), and just making sure that they had fun! Working with kids has been one of my favorite experiences which is why I Read more intend to pursue a career as a pediatrician. I also have three amazing and crazy dogs that I absolutely love so working with dogs too would just be a plus. I don't have CPR certification as of now but I plan to be certified as soon as possible. Taking care of your kids would be a privilege and I can only imagine how hard it is to trust someone with this job which is why I have no problem answering any questions you have.
