Hi! My name is Alyssa, I’m a graduate student studying psychology. I have worked as a mother’s helper, a babysitter, and a tutor for students in a classroom setting and one on one with students with disabilities. I love animals as I have 4 of my own (2 cats, a bunny, and puppy)! I have worked with children as young as 10 months and as old as 17 years (in a tutoring setting) and I always loved watching them grow as people. My last job was as a full time babysitter over the summer for an amazing 7 year old. I did pickups/dropoffs, meal prepping, general errands, laundry, and of course, play time! Alyssa is a grounded, responsible, warm, caring, personable, fun, and super helpful babysitter. Our 2 boys, ages 4 & 7, with totally different personalities and interests, both absolutely loved her. One of our boys is slightly special needs and she found ways of navigating his challenges with a lot of compassion and intelligence. In addition to her expert care for the boys, she found ways of cleaning and taking care of the house, so in addition to 2 happy healthy kids, we came home to a home that was much nicer than how we left it. She is an excellent communicator. Highly recommend Alyssa!
