Hi! I am Emma Viggiani. I currently live in Rochester, NY, and I am a middle school ENL teacher in Brighton. I graduated from Niagara University in 2023 with my degree TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with a minor in dance. I am currently working on my masters degree in Literacy from SUNY Brockport. I have worked with children since I was little and absolutely love the education field. I have a lot of experience working with students at my job, in after school programs, volunteering, and being an assistant in primary, elementary, middle and high schools. I love creating fun activities for children of all ages, specifically ones that get them away from the screens and immersed with the activity and the people around them. Going outside and enjoying nature is also important and something I would do when it is nice out!

I have been employed as Lead Infant, Toddler, and Preschool teachers in the past but now offer care out of my home! I have my CDA for Infants/Toddlers and preschool and am CPR certified as well. I have a 4 year old of my own that is always with me, as well as being a foster parent to kiddos that need a home! I am an organized, loving, and supportive caregiver.

I’m a current student at SUNY Geneseo majoring in Childhood Education, with experience caring for children in many different settings. Growing up in a foster family gave me the opportunity to help with kids of all ages, and I’ve regularly babysat my younger cousins. Through Geneseo, I’ve completed school placements working with elementary students, and I also have experience substitute teaching and volunteering at church with children. I’m CPR and First Aid certified. Families can count on me to be responsible, patient, and caring. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, ages, and pets.

I am currently in my senior year at SUNY Geneseo. I have worked with various children through families that I have come to know from family, friends, and coworkers. My skills include multitasking, as I have watched multiple children and pets at one time, communication, and creating an engaging and safe environment for children.

I have been a babysitter/nanny since I was a freshman in high school (15 years old). I watched 6 children for a family nearly every weekday during 2020-2021. I also have a very large family with many young children I babysit very often, and have for many years. I’m looking for a job where I can show my positive character, and dedication. I want to nanny because I love children, am very patient, understanding, and calm under pressure. I consider myself a responsible and compassionate person, and I’m proud to come from a large, loving family. My life experiences have given me extensive exposure to interpersonal relationships, shaped by various roles I've taken on in service industries, as well as my involvement in extracurricular activities like drama, track, and environmental advocacy during high school. I also have the privilege of participating in Greek life at Geneseo, which further broadened my horizons! Through my strong family bonds and the different ages I’ve babysat over the years, I’ve gained valuable insight into all stages of childhood development.
