Hi! I am Emma Viggiani. I currently live in Rochester, NY, and I am a middle school ENL teacher in Brighton. I graduated from Niagara University in 2023 with my degree TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with a minor in dance. I am currently working on my masters degree in Literacy from SUNY Brockport. I have worked with children since I was little and absolutely love the education field. I have a lot of experience working with students at my job, in after school programs, volunteering, and being an assistant in primary, elementary, middle and high schools. I love creating fun activities for children of all ages, specifically ones that get them away from the screens and immersed with the activity and the people around them. Going outside and enjoying nature is also important and something I would do when it is nice out!

I live in the country & have a lot of nature to walk in which is so healthy for my body. I practice meditation & yoga. My husband, of 23 years, & I enjoy going to the movies & spending time together at home watching TV & playing Chess & many other board games. As well as walking our dogs together everyday if possible. I spend as much time as possible with my 17yo Son despite his busy life. I love reading. It’s my passion. I have a strong faith which keeps me grounded for what I’m grateful for each & every day. I’m the oldest of 4 children & helped my Mom, in many aspects, raise my 3 siblings, my youngest Sister was autistic. I spend as much time with my family despite them living some distance away. During my college experience at Purdue I am involved with special Olympics and am now a part of Special Olympics New Yorkto build relationships with others and be involved within the community. I also am strongly skilled in understanding dietary restrictions and portions for meal prep!
