Hi my name is Patty, I have been a nanny/sitter for a bit more than 3 years. I have 2 adult sons who in my opinion are fantastic, not all due to me of course. I was a stay at home mom, before that I was a fashion designer. I worked in NYC and had a women's clothing company in LA for a while. I am the oldest of six which gave me lots of experience at a young age. I am now the aunt of 14, so more experience. I believe in talking with kids not at them. I always felt if you show children respect you will usually get it back. I try to be silly and I have lots of energy for play, laughter is truly the best medicine. I am good at dealing with issues that may come up in a non confrontational manner and patience. Read more I feel if you talk to kids so they understand they will generally think and come back in a positive way. Kids keep you young and smiling, at least that has been my experience which is a win for me since I don't plan on aging :) I have references upon request, thank you!
