Hello families! My name is Meagan Carney, I am a sophomore at the University Of Alabama and I am studying nursing! I am from Long Island, NY and have been a full time nanny since middle school and wouldn’t choose any other job! I feel so lucky to have gotten to know such amazing families and kids over the years! I have watched newborns all the way to 15 year olds. I am CPR certified and know how to react and what to do in case of an emergency, as I was also a lifeguard in the past and have done volunteer shadowing at my local hospitals which includes training! I have been with a child who uses an EpiPen, so am aware of a reaction, when one is starting to form, and how to use one! I have my own car and have my full license, so able to Read more drive, pickup kids, drop off, or even run errands! I am willing to get recommendations from previous families if needed. Volunteering at several local hospitals in different units is what has drawn me closer to children and being another role model for them! I love to keep the house clean and help out as much as I can. My going rate varies per family, depending on how many kids but starts at $20 an hour! I am available starting August 18th due to Greek life commitments💖
