My name is Jessica! I am almost 25 years old and I have been working with children my entire life! A bit about myself: I grew up in the suburbs outside Philadelphia before majoring in English-Education at Ithaca College in NY. After graduating in 2019, I began teaching 7th grade English Language Arts in a primarily Spanish-speaking area. As a result, I speak basic-conversant Spanish almost daily (although I am still learning!). I will be moving to Hillsboro, OR in early July 2021 where I am re-directing my creative energy into novel writing, as opposed to lesson-crafting. I have been a babysitter and a nanny since I was thirteen years old (11 years). I have been a live-in nanny for a summer, and have had the pleasure to work with children of all ages and genders, including infants. I also have experience both babysitting and working in school with children Read more with autism. My most recent and absolutely wonderful nanny experience has been from August 2020 through the present (and will carry on until the day I move from VA to OR!) Here, I have nannied and tutored the two sweetest young children and worked with the parents as a household cleaner/organizer/driver. I am fully-vaccinated and very COVID-cautious. Additionally, I am CPR and First-Aid Certified. I have a crystal-clear driving record and insurance and am very comfortable driving children. I am a HUGE dog lover!
