Experienced nanny/babysitter/tutor looking for part-time or occasional work. I have a B.A. in Child Psychology and an M.A. in Human Development and Family Studies (both Cornell degrees). I am currently taking a year or two off from my MST degree (Master's in Teaching) so that I get a part-time job to help pay my tuition. I am also a mother of an elementary school-aged child and have lots of experience working with children in clinical, educational, and residential settings. I do lots of play therapy with kids and also incorporate various artistic and creative elements in my duties as a babysitter (i.e. anything from crafts to science experiments). I can also help with tutoring in various fields (SAT, GRE, and most school taught subjects) and speak/teach Japanese. I am also CPR trained and certified. My fee depends on the number of children in my care and any special needs/goals.
