I've been working with kids ever since freshmen year of high school. As an avid musician, I gave drum lessons to children on top of babysitting for others. My senior year of high school I interned with an elementary music teacher at F.E Bellows. I worked with children from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I helped to conduct, teach the class, and write songs with the children, all while babysitting certain student on top of this. Teaching was truly an invaluable experience for me. I loved the energy and the creativity that the students brought to each class. After this, I became a camp counselor at Village of Mamaroneck Day Camp. I worked with 5 and 6 year olds. I have loved every minute of working with children. I feel like my energy matches theirs and that's what draws me to continue working with children.
