Hi! I'm Lauren. I'm 23, and have a Bachelors from Ithaca College. I have 2 (scuba) divemaster certifications, and as such I have been trained several times in First Aid, CPR, and AED. My most recent certification was in mid May. I also completed a Babysitting Basics course several years back through the Red Cross. However, I think what makes a really great babysitter is experience, compassion, and fun. I have babysat for a multitude of families with children between the ages of 1 year and 13 years old and I love working with children! I love how silly, imaginative, and fun they are! It's amazing seeing the changes in them as they grow. I am completely willing to help around the house and cooking, and am a pro by now at changing diapers. I'm very mature, responsible, energetic, and caring. I can handle anything babysitting throws at me! I Read more love being outdoors and enjoy crafts. I can always find something innovative to keep the kids I babysit occupied and happy. I can also provide my own transportation. I love pets, even chickens! The only downside is sadly I am allergic to cats. In my spare time I enjoy diving, volunteering with coral reef restoration organizations, running, and doing wildlife and landscape photography.
