Hello, my name Melanie! I am a graduate student studying occupational therapy and am currently completing a 3-month internship in Raleigh, NC. I am looking for a consistent position (part time/date nights) that works with my work schedule. I work a typical week, M-F 8-5ish, so I am available M-F weekday evenings starting at dinner time, and all day Saturday/Sunday. I've been babysitting children (ages 4 mo-12 yrs) since middle school and love to be around kids! I have also worked as a camp counselor at my local YMCA and interned with a mental health/educational facility where I worked with children diagnosed with mental health issues in an after school program. I also spent a year serving with AmeriCorps in FL where I tutored children to improve their literacy skills. In addition, I have volunteered with children in OT of all ages; most of them had development/intellectual disabilities, so I Read more feel fairly comfortable working with this population as well.
