Meet Yasmin

• Comfortable with pets

Growing up, I was the youngest of my siblings. This made me the perfect candidate to watch all of our baby cousins whenever they came to visit. It would usually be 3 to 4 kids at a time, sometimes more.. I was always tasked with making sure everyone was okay and safe, while still having fun. My mom has been a teacher for 30+ years and she has instilled in me a passion for learning. During quarantine I had the opportunity to virtually teach six classes that each had 6 to 10 students in them. During the program we would have reading time, play math games and take comprehension quizzes every so often to track our progress every. Education is something that I value deeply which is why I am excited to finish up my senior year at Morgan State. I also have a 9 year old niece who I Read more have watched her own life. As I watch her get older it becomes increasingly important to provide a good example for her and to affirm her in ways that I wasn't growing up. Overall I truly enjoy working with kids and nurturing the young minds of tomorrow. I would love to speak more with you about your needs and how I can best serve you.
