Hello! My name is Aaliyah. Although I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, school has never and will never get in the way of my work schedule. I’m fully committed to being reliable, consistent, and present for the families I work with. I also hold an Associate’s degree, and my academic background has deepened my understanding of child development and emotional well-being both of which shape the way I care for children. As a Psychology major, I love introducing age-appropriate sensory and motor activities to help support developmental growth. Whether it’s hands-on sensory play, movement-based learning, or encouraging curiosity through exploration, I enjoy keeping kids active, engaged, and learning in fun ways. Before my most recent nanny position with a wonderful family (whose review you can view on my profile), I worked at The Learning Experience daycare, caring for children from 6 months to 5 years old. Being the oldest of six siblings, caring for children has always come naturally to me. I grew up helping with my younger brothers and sisters, and that early responsibility eventually grew into a genuine passion. Supporting families by offering an extra set of caring, dependable hands is something I truly treasure. I am also a licensed driver with my own reliable vehicle, giving me the flexibility to help with pick-ups, drop-offs, errands, or outings. In addition to childcare, I can cook, clean, organize, and help maintain a smooth day-to-day routine anything that can make your life a little easier.
