Hi, I'm Marian! I have been providing childcare for just over 16 years now, specializing in clients with special needs. Having grown up with two siblings with special needs (Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy), I naturally transitioned at the age of twelve to caring for a young boy in my neighborhood with general delays and a seizure disorder. Over time, my experience led me to working with many other families and young adults including those with Autism, Cognitive Delays, Down Syndrome, Seizure Disorders, as well as those utilizing a wheelchair and a ventilator. Through college I worked as a short-term live-in caregiver for families leaving on vacation etc., and I am currently working as a Respite/Com Hab worker today.
