Currently, I am only seeking date night /evening babysitting and/or weekend as I work full time. I was the primary nanny for a local family with two children. Also, I worked as a camp counselor for 3 summers, watching kids ages 4-13. My age group was 7-8 year olds. On a daily basis, I would take attendance, play group games/activities, assist in arts and crafts, help the kids with their lunch, and talk to parents. I loved this seasonal summer job for more reasons than just being outdoors all day. It was a great learning experience and by the end of the 8 weeks, the group of kids I was the primary counselor for loved me! We also took trips to Zoom Flume and rolling skating, in which I was the primary counselor for the group that day. I have confidence in my ability to not only watch children and Read more entertain them, but also help with learning and education with homework help, etc. I love cooking and have a passion for quick, cheap and healthy meals. I volunteered with an Ulster County division of "No Child Left Behind" at the YMCA. We prepared meals with a group of students after school and taught them tips and tricks on healthy eating that they could bring home to their families. It was very rewarding and a great experience. I love animals and grew up with cats and currently own a dog. I have a safe and reliable 2015 car. I have my associates degree from SUNY Ulster and my bachelors degree from SUNY New Paltz.
