Hello there, My name is Joyce and I am 22 years old, I am a former English instructor and current stay at home mom and baby sitter/nanny. I have plenty of experience with children from birth to teenagers. I started working as a teacher assistant in Brazil when I was 17, and by the age of 18 I was running my own classroom. During my years as a teacher I developed a great passion for special education as well as early childhood development. I have recently finished two online courses on autism and mental health and will be starting OTA school within the next year. Besides that I also have training in Montessori and Waldorf’s methodologies, I practice Montessori’s principles at home with my daughter, baby led weaning and gentle parenting although I am certainly prepared to adapt to each families needs and preferences regarding discipline, education and eating habits.
