Hi! My name is Jenna, and I have been working with children for as long as I can remember! When I was young, I used to BEG my neighbors to let me watch their children. In my teens, I volunteered at Camp ANCHOR, a program for children and adults with disabilities. I eventually worked my way up the ranks at ANCHOR and for most of my early 20s, I was in charge of my own group of 5-7 year olds with Autism. Camp ANCHOR helped fuel my passion for working with children, and my experience there helped me pursue both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Education. I have worked as a special education teacher for 5 years on Long Island. I started my career teaching middle school, and as soon as the opportunity presented itself, I moved down to the elementary level.
