Hi, My name is Jackie. I'm a mother of two teenage girls. Being a mom is the best training for taking care of children. I'm a retired NYPD sergeant. After 20 years of service it was time for me to retire to spend more time with my family. I have received extensive training in handling emergency situations. I have also received CPR training. I am currently a certified NYS Teacher Assistant. I have taught in both general and special educations in grades kindergarten thru fifth grade. I assist in the academic, emotional and social development of the children. I love to be outdoors from being on the beach to taking a bike ride in the park.
