Hi! My name is Jayden, and I’m a dedicated childcare professional graduating this spring with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Mercy University. I will be attending Seton Hall University for my Masters of Arts in School Counseling, this Fall. I’ve always been passionate about child development, and my academic background in Social & Behavioral Sciences, along with hands-on experience across a range of educational and therapeutic settings, allows me to support children’s unique needs in a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment. Over the years, I’ve worked with children of all ages—from Pre-K through middle school—in a variety of roles. I currently serve as a Teacher’s Aide for children in grades 3-5, specifically in a special education ABA setting within a public elementary school, and I also have worked part-time as an ABA Behavioral Technician, where I support children on the autism spectrum with individualized behavior and communication plans. Read more My previous experience includes roles in special education classrooms, after-school childcare programs, day camps, and mental health internship settings. I’m certified in Autism Education, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid through Heartsaver. Whether I’m leading an arts and crafts activity, supporting emotional regulation, or helping with homework and daily routines, I approach every interaction with patience, empathy, and positivity. I’m particularly experienced in working with children who have IEPs or behavior intervention plans, and I believe in building trust with both kids and parents to ensure the best care possible. I bring structure, creativity, and a deep respect for each child’s individuality. If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about kids, I’d love to meet your family!
