I have been surrounded by kids of all age groups my entire life. My mother is actually a babysitter and I have been helping her care for them for many years. I have helped with kids ever since I was about 12 or 13 years old. Seeing my mother care for various children has taught me that a babysitter needs to be patient, understanding, playful, trustworthy, and also authoritative. I have dealt with children from four weeks old to about 13 years old. Besides helping my mother supervise these children, I have also cared for kids on my own.
