Hello, my name is Kayla Edwards. I am 20 years old and I am a Junior at Iona College. One of the most satisfying jobs of my life has been being a mommy’s helper, which started at the age of eleven. Because of the flexibility in my schedule at the age of thirteen, I then began managing my very own babysitting business. I adore children and love taking care of them! Being the second oldest of six children has not only strengthened my desire to serve other families with kids, but also has prepared me to serve in many different capacities, including assisting with a multitude of tasks at once. Providing through care and loads of creative fun for kids is more than just a means to make money; it is my way of attempting to contribute to a healthy family unit. Aside from entertaining your children, I am able to prepare light meals, assist with nap/bedtime time routines, help with light household chores, and also tutor/assist with homework. I have assisted families with children from the age of 3 months to 15 years old. On average I have babysat 10-20 times a month, outside of my expected family babysitting contribution of my three younger siblings. I typically am able to babysit 1-6 children at a time.
