Hello! I am a graduation senior at Iona College in New Rochelle. At the end of this semester I will be graduated with a B.S. in Childhood Education with a Social Studies concentration. I love kids, and the honesty they have about them along with the wonder they possess for learning everyday. These alone are what drove me to pursue a degree in education. I have completed student teaching - 450 field experience hours working in a CILA (Child International Language Academy) classroom at William B. Ward Elementary School in New Rochelle. A native of Saratoga Springs, NY, In high school I completed a 54-hour internship working with severely cognitively impaired children. I have had the opportunity to babysit an 18 year old Autistic classmate from high school on a regular basis during past summers.
