Hello, my name is Paldon Tenzin. I'm a 28 year-old Tibetan American woman. I've recently moved to New York from Los Angeles to start nursing school in January of 2016. Growing up in a Tibetan boarding school has taught me about patience, discipline, responsibility, humility, sense and love and caring for one another, and most of all appreciation for everything life has to offer. I feel like these are the most fundamental qualities that one should possess in raising a child. The first family that I worked for, I started taking care of their son from 6 months until he was almost 3. When I was Los Angeles I took care of the most loving and adorable twin girls as a live in nanny. They are five and a half and I've been with them since they were born. I love and adore them like my own. I cook for Read more the girls, shop for the family, teach them yoga, take them to the park and other activities, bring them to and from school, arrange play dates, take them for a walk, bake with them, swim, hike, and tidy up their room. Although it was very difficult saying good bye to them, I'm very excited about the adventure ahead. I take great pride in my work and understand that I am responsible for the one thing that matters to you the most, which only a parent can understand.
