I will like to start off by saying I have a lot of younger siblings. Due to both my brother and I being the first two grandchildren. I was also the first girl in the family for sometime which resulted into me always being asked to babysit. My aunt always needed assistance with my cousins so took I took it upon myself to pick them up from school, and take them to after school where I than proceeded to pick them up and take them home. Once there I would help them with their homework, clean, schedule play dates, and occasionally cook. I absolutely loved it. Just knowing that I could be there not only for my aunt but for them was an honor and a blessing. I love that years later they see me as a mentor. Besides sitting for my cousins I also took it upon myself to Read more help my mother, she has been a nanny herself for over 20 years. I loved building relationships with the families she supported. I also have a niece and a nephew that I love dearly. I can say I would be great for this position because of my experience’s and my passion. This would not be a job to me but more like something I would love to do. It brings me great joy to know that I can be of help.
