Hi! My name is Liz and I am 23 years old. I currently work in the insurance industry and have lived in NYC since August 2012. My family is from the area but I currently live with friends. I started babysitting in high school, which then led to 3 years as a camp counselor and sports director at a day camp near my family's home. On my summer breaks from college I nannied for a family with three boys under the age of 12, which included getting them to and from camp, bringing them to the pool/baseball practice/play dates - I also cooked for them and occasionally did some family errands. I am Health Care Provider First Aid & CPR certified and was a student athletic trainer in college. I love being around kids - their curiosity and energy always brightens my day. Over the years I feel I have developed a good balance of being both their friend and providing a safe environment with reasonable boundaries. I have served as a captain of multiple sports teams and held many executive positions in my student organizations which have helped develop myself as a positive role model. I enjoy doing all sorts of things, but specifically enjoy cooking and anything I can do while being outside. My free time is mostly spent spending time with friends and family, testing new recipes on my roommates, and playing golf with my father.
