I am a 24 year old from CT, currently pursuing a secondary Bachelor's degree in Nursing at New York University. I currently hold a BA in Psychology from Villanova University. I have a naturally sunny disposition and am very energetic. I love working with children, and have extensive experience doing so. I enjoy keeping kids engaged in activities without relying on the television, by playing games, doing art projects, going to parks, and short excursions to nearby attractions. I love working with children because they have this great way of seeing the world in simple and refreshing ways that help remind me of the goodness that exists. I think kids are amazing (and adorable)! Watching kids play, learn, and be happy makes my whole day! I currently babysit two young boys ages 6 and 8, and my responsibilities are to pick them up from school, help with homework, cook them Read more dinner, and get them ready for bed. I also have experience with children from newborns through age 8, and in the past I have worked with up to five children in one family. For three years I worked at a summer day program for children, where I was in charge of around 20 first and second graders with 2 other staff members. My responsibilities were to come up with activities and low cost trips that the children could do to keep them entertained throughout the day. I also had to keep track of them while out on the playground, and help make and distribute their lunches.
