I am a recent graduate of the Columbia University Postbac Premed Program and I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Michigan. Throughout the summers of my high school years, I served as a sitter for two families each with two children from infants to 3rd grade. In my undergraduate education I worked as a reading and writing tutor for kindergarten students. I also have experience teaching both high school and college level material in quantitative fields. I am a prospective medical school applicant, with high hopes of becoming a physician. I have various experience in the medical field working as a research assistant in the emergency department and on population health studies. In addition, I am a trained birth doula. I enjoy working with children and wish to provide assistance to families in the New York City area before I apply to medical school.

I trust Allison as if she were a member of our family. She helped take care of our infant son, and he could not have been in better hands day in and day out. Not only did Allison go above and beyond to ensure our little one had the best day possible every day, she was also respectful of our home, and with her medical background, the perfect person to know was in charge had there been any kind of crisis. She is calm, fun, and trustworthy. Our son adores her, and we look forward to being in touch with her even now that we've moved away from NYC. I cannot recommend her highly enough whether it be for watching your son/daughter for a night out, a full-time role with your family, or even tutoring, which I know she also did on the side and was well-loved for!
