Hello parents! I have been babysitting for 2 1/2 years through UrbanSitter and I have been hired again by over 60 families in the New York City area. I am new to SitterCity, but have a full list of reviews from the families with whom I have worked. I would be more than happy to share them. At age 20, I graduated from Princeton University where I studied Religion, French and Theater. My work and studies have taken me around the world, and I've worked in childhood education in France, Thailand, and South Africa. I have one year of experience teaching arts classes in a California elementary school and 3 years experience as an after-school tutor and mentor for elementary and high school aged children, tutoring math, English and science when needed. My interest in child-care began in 4th grade when I began volunteering as a junior teaching assistant for Read more my school's Special Education program. I'm an accomplished visual artist and often when babysitting I give impromptu drawing lessons-- I'm always down for a good art project! I also love music, and know every popular song ranging from Frozen to Hamilton by heart. I play piano and speak French fluently.
