Hi! I'm Jordan. I am a North Carolina native who moved to New York City a little over a year ago to continue my education after receiving a B.A. in Communication Studies and Minor in Leadership Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I began babysitting and working at children's summer camps around age 15. I have always had a joy for working with children and I am also involved in Musical Theatre, which has always provided many opportunities to entertain and teach children. During my undergraduate career at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, I was a nanny for several families all four years. I babysat for two families with four children all under the age of eight. My last year I was the full time nanny for a family with two children and a family with a 9 month old. Throughout college I have worked at Church Read more summer camps for children, leading them in music or other educational activities. I moved to New York to continue my education in Musical Theatre, the past year I have babysat for some close family friends in the city, but would love to use my experience as a babysitter/nanny/camp counselor to expand my babysitting business in the city. Currently I am taking night classes (which run from 5:30-10:30) until February. This leaves the majority of all of my weekday and weekends free for work.
