I am a counseling psychology graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University. I have worked in the past predominantly with children on the Autism Spectrum and their siblings. I have a little experience babysitting back in Miami, FL but I am comfortable in Manhattan to pick up children from school or after school activities if needed. I also speak Spanish and can help children master the language if interested or work with monolingual Spanish speakers. I am comfortable helping children with homework and chores as well as taking them to museums, parks, etc. In May I will begin volunteering with children at PS 5 working with children ages 2-5 (focusing on behavioral and emotional needs) and have had a background check for this opportunity.
