My history: I began babysitting at age 13. Prior to that, I helped take care of my brothers, the youngest of whom is nine years my junior. At age 11, I took on a volunteer position working with kids at my local library. The library was where I began to recognize that I enjoy spending time with and getting to know children and their families. My experience: In my roughly 10 years of child care, I have seen to the safety and happiness of children as young as 7 months and as old as 14 years. Additionally, I have been responsible for children with special needs such as Type 1 Diabetes and ADHD.
