Hi, my name is Reece Babb and I'm currently a freshman at Marymount Manhattan College where I am majoring in B.F.A Dance. I moved to the city just this past August from Michigan and have officially adjusted to the pace of the city. I am looking for a part-time job to help get me by during college and I have always had a love for working with children. I have a lot of experience working with children. Since my sophomore year of high school I have had a summer nannying job taking care of two children. Both kids had ADHD and I had the responsibility of keeping them entertained while keeping them under control. Working with this particular family tested my patience a lot and taught me how to control kids in an effective and fun way. I also have a little sister who is twelve years younger than me. Read more Ever since the day she was born I have had a lot of responsibility with her since both of my parents worked full-time. I've changed many diapers, driven her to gymnastics practice, dropped and picked her up from school, played games, and put her to sleep. There have been many times when my parents were out of town, especially this past year in which I'd be responsible for taking care of her for a couple days at a time. Alongside of actual babysitting, for the past two years I have taught beginning dance classes to children between the ages of two and ten. This experience taught me how to deal with many children all at one time in a very structured, yet fun environment. Overall, I have had a lot of experience with children and am very responsible.
