Well, I am DeAndra, but I like to go by Dee. I am originally from Boston (proper, not a suburb), and I am here in Manhattan studying to become a secondary English literature and foreign language teacher. I have been studying Spanish for 10 years. The only way I will get better at this point is to probably go abroad for a more immersive experience with the language. I also have begun studying Arabic. I am nowhere near fluent, but I am working on it! I have years of experience as a babysitter; I was also a nanny to two sweet little boys for a summer. I prefer to babysit the same children often, because then we will get to know one another and I can learn their allergies, habits, and routines better. Children need consistency! Oh and I am very pet friendly! My father is a cook at Harvard Read more University, so I was also raised knowing how to make a wide variety of dishes in case you'd every like to make dinner. I lean toward Asian cusines; however, I think I do a good job with everything from Italian to vegetarian dishes.
