Hi parents, my name is Gloria and I'm an artist and previous grad student living in the city. I genuinely adore kids and aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones. !! I was previously a nanny for a family in the UWS for almost a year where I cared for two children: a 5 mo infant and a 3 yo toddler. In the course of a year I nurtured their growth and was responsible for both of the children's well-being and growth from daybreak to dawn, including helping in the later stages of potty training, cooked/prepped meals, fixed formula for infant, got toddler ready for school Read more and transported them to various places around the city. I was babysitting a 2.5 yo toddler in Clinton Hill and was a regular sitter for the family for 6 months. However, a new addition was just added to the family and because the mom will be home most of the time now, I was temporarily relieved of my duties. With this toddler, I've changed diapers, helped with potty training, fixed simple meals, taken her to pre-k, playground, library, etc. I'm very experienced with this age group and I've also babysat more than one toddler at the same time. I was also babysitting a 10-year-old on the UES 4-5 days of the week where I cooked her dinners and helped her with homework. I also occasionally helped her mother with errands and light housekeeping. She needs less help than the toddler, but I think that I help her with being an emotional support and a friend.
