Hello! I'm Chrissy, I went to UCLA for my undergraduate degree and now I'm pursuing a Master of Public Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. I have loved working with kids for many years! As my detailed experience lists below, I volunteered with children throughout my 4 years at UCLA and worked at a summer camp for two years in a row. I love arts and crafts and I'll happily play both indoor and outdoor games! I have been working with children in a variety of settings for the past 10 years, since I was 14 years old. At age 14, I worked as a camp counselor for the summer (June-August 2008), providing care for kids aged 7-12. I have babysat for various families on an as-needed basis, and in spring of 2012 (May-June 2012) I babysat a 10-year-old girl every day after school. From June Read more - September 2013, I babysat a 3-year-old girl (who turned 4 during this time that I was babysitting her) roughly once a week or on an as-needed basis. In September 2013, I was an intermediate nanny for a pair of 5 year old twins (one boy, one girl) for two weeks. In September 2014, I babysat for 11 hours each day for a week for a family whose 3 children were 2 years old, 4 years old, and 5 years old. During my 4 years at UCLA, I volunteered every Sunday to care for, teach and mentor kids ranging from ages 3-15 (October 2012-June 2016). For two summers (June-August 2013; June-August 2014), I worked at a summer camp caring for children between the age of 3 and 9. Most recently, from October 2016 - May 2017, I spent a total of 6.5 months being a full time nanny (45 -50 hours per week) for an infant girl. I started with her when she was 10 months old and finished when she was 18 months old (I was travelling for two months in the middle, so I worked 3 months at a time).
