Hi! My name is Tyra and I'm going into my junior year at Columbia University in New York City. However, I’m currently back for the summer in my hometown, Pittsburgh, and am available to babysit in the general Pittsburgh Area until September! I have a four year old and seven year old brother, both who I’ve babysat several times a week since they were born until I went to college (and still when I go back for breaks) so I’m well adept at babysitting children as young as infants. Additionally, I’ve babysat children ranging from 10months old to 7 year olds regularly through a similar babysitting platform. I worked at a church daycare during high school in which I cared for and played with kids from ages 5 -14 (and I have many cousins who span from infants to teens who I babysat regularly as well) so I’m completely comfortable Read more watching older kids too. I tutored elementary and middle school kids in high school and currently have a job as a high school tutor through my university. Thus, helping kids with their homework if necessary wouldn’t be a problem at all; I’m even open to tutoring kids if they’re struggling in any subjects if you are interested. I would love to meet you and the kids before actually babysitting as well so you can get to know me a little more and the children can get familiar with me!
