I have had a lot of experience working with kids from ages 2-12, I have worked as an intern at the Dewitt daycare center in the lower east side with kids ages 2-5, and have worked with teachers during and after school hours to make sure kids were getting all the help they could get when it came to fun activities, homework, and specific tutoring in reading and writing to prepare them for kindergarten. I also have experience with working with middle school age children since I also worked as an intern at School of The Future middle school (gramercy area). I would work with teachers to help develop plans to help specific students who needed the extra help, attention, and care. I also have done tutoring after school to help students. I would say that I am very kind, and friendly and I love to work with children. My Read more favorite teacher in school of the future saw these qualities in me and even allowed for me to babysit her children before as well. I would say I am fun, but also can be very serious when it comes to important things such as school, and chores. I am 19 years old about to turn 20 and I would say I will forever be a kid at heart, which is why I believe children tend to love me so much. Working with kids isn't just seen as a job to me, I see myself as a role model when it comes to children. I also am very good with homework help and love to push children to remember that school is very important. I also would like to add that i'm really reliable when it comes to running errands and house keeping as well. Right now I am getting a degree in human bio at Hunter College, and going into nursing school to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
