I have cared for children at several stages of life, from infants to school-aged kids, and I bring a calm, attentive, and highly responsible approach to childcare. My experience began at home helping care for my younger brother, who is ten years younger than me. From the time he was a toddler, I regularly helped watch him while my mom was working, which gave me an early understanding of patience, safety, and the importance of being fully present with young children. In high school, I babysat for a single mother with long work hours who had two children, a boy and a girl, between the ages of 7 and 10. I helped with school pickup, homework, dinner, and transportation to activities and practices. I especially enjoyed helping with homework, particularly math, which is a strength of mine as someone with a finance degree. Most recently, I cared for a 6-month-old Read more baby for a young professional couple. My responsibilities included keeping her engaged through age-appropriate play, helping her learn through toys and colors, changing diapers, following her feeding schedule, making sure she had tummy time, and keeping her safe and comfortable throughout the day. I am especially cautious and attentive with infants and young children, and I take their safety, well-being, and routines very seriously. Families can expect me to be dependable, thoughtful, patient, and careful. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your child with someone, and I always aim to give parents peace of mind by creating a safe, warm, and engaging environment for their children.
