I am seeking employment with individuals with special needs, children of all ages, adults and seniors. My direct experience is with raising my own adult son who has Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, speech, language and cognitive delays and behavioral issues. My work experience is within the special needs community doing Behavior Modification Therapy for families seeking assistance with difficult and challenging behaviour. Some of my past experience involved getting a child ready and accepted into residential placement that was rejected by all placements due to severe behaviours. My behavioural therapy helps develop the necessary skills to maintain independence and confidence, and includes ABA, Behavioral Intervention, toilet training and more. One of my strongest attributes is my patience and deep care for individuals that are struggling and need assistance. My goal is to help them gain independence and confidence in all that they require for reaching their greatest potential.
