Hello, my name is Kayla and I am based in Soho NYC. I am 26 years old and have been looking after children of all ages since I was 14. My very first job when I was 14 going on 15, was as a summer camp counselor at my local gym. I looked after 15 kids, from ages 5-10 years old. When summer ended (during the school year), I worked in "Kids Zone" at the same gym, where parents would drop their kids (infant to 12 years old) off while they worked out. I did this all throughout high school and a couple of years in college. I made meaningful connections while I was there and would occasionally babysit for families who's child was in summer camp or in "Kids Zone". I have maintained my relationships with these children and families and whenever I am back in my hometown, I Read more am just a phone call away for whenever help is needed. I help out with school work, light housekeeping, and fun arts and crafts activities. To note, I do work full time in medical communications (remote), so I prefer evenings and anytime on the weekends.
