Hi, I’m Merrit :) I‘m from Germany and live in NYC as an au pair/nanny. I’ve been in the US for 5 months now and really enjoy my experience here. I like to play soccer, play piano and be creative. Moreover I love to spend time with my friends :) I’m a very open-minded and positive person. It’s important to me to always try to make the best out of every situation :) I have always had a lot to do with children, whether it’s babysitting or my own family (I have two brothers 😊). Back in Germany I coached youth soccer teams and took care of children from the age of 2-14. I also gave arts and crafts workshops for kids. To work with children has always been fun to me. I find it exciting to see how children develop and want to support them on their journey. It’s Read more important to me that they have the best time! I’ve also worked with children with special needs. Working with kids has taught me to see things from a different perspective of life :) Right now, I’m taking care of a 8-year-old boy and a dog in my hostfamily. Due to the working schedule of my hostparents I have more free time than expected. I’m fully vaccinated, have a driver license and feel comfortable with pets.
