I just got back from living in Prague for two years where I was teaching English to children ranging in ages from 5-15. I also had a class of 15-20 students in an after-school program that I taught and did activities with from 12-5 pm every day. Before that for nearly three years I lived with a family with two children, a boy and a girl. When I moved in they were three and six respectively. I took them to and picked them up from school and camp, and spent all day with the little one when he was too young for Pre-K. I took them to the playground, museums, the zoo, and the beach. I stayed home with them when they were sick and helped them with their homework, and I helped the older one learn how to read. While living with one family I also babysat for four Read more different families with children ranging in age from infant to 10 years old.  I love to play with kids and be silly and engage their imagination.  I do not have any children of my own but I live with my sister and my 3 year old nephew, and cherish every day with him. I do not have any pets of my own but I dogsit for friends all the time. But unfortunately I am allergic to cats. I am a film, literature art and music buff and am currently writing my thesis for a Master's degree in American studies from the CUNY Graduate Center. I also worked for many years at the Cloisters museum of art, and gave tours there, so I can teach your children about art and history.
