Meet Susan

From as early as I can remember, I have always had a desire to work with children of all ages. I have worked a long term position with a family that was full time, for quite some time. I have also worked a few part time positions (just some weekends.) I enjoy going on outings with the children to parks, libraries and museums. Together we will play educational games, read, bake, make science experiments, and one of my very favorites is making arts and crafts, when we get to make things for mom and dad and have fun getting messy doing so, (of course we clean up after ourselves :).) Of course all things are done with parent's permission first. Although infants are too young to do alot of the things mentioned, they do get played with, sang to, danced with and read to as well. For families I have Read more previously worked for, I have also prepared meals, did light housekeeping, and cared for pets as well. I have my Associates Degree in Education. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have had a recent flu vaccination as well as a Tdap vaccination. Besides working as a nanny/babysitter, I have also worked in Cardinal Spellman Headstart as a summer youth employee for a few summers and completed my internships for college in The Neighborhood School, working as a student teacher. I am fun, loving, patient, very responsible, reliable and honest. Children are very happy with Suzy :) Children learn a lot while they are with me, and have alot of fun while doing so.
