My name is Angelique Grathwohl, and I am currently working as an art teacher at a school for students with special needs, with other backgrounds in cooking, community service and social cognition. My educational background includes a master's degree in art therapy and training in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I have three years of experience of working with children with special needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and developmental delays. I have experience working with children with difficulties in language processing or are non-verbal and can comfortably work with assistive technology. I am an enthusiastic and empathetic caregiver that focuses a lot of energy on meeting the needs of my students and children that I have babysat in the past. My personal interests include art, hiking, cooking and reading and I am excited to share and teach new experiences with the kids.
