I have built a long standing career in child care working throughout a variety of settings and demands for the past 8 years. I began my experience babysitting for family, friends, and neighbors at the young age of 13. When I became more experienced, I began working at my local YMCA as a child watch coordinator while getting my lifeguard certification. I began lifeguarding and eventually became certified as a Red Cross Water and Safety Instructor allowing me to teach swim lessons to groups of children. Throughout this time, I worked as a camp counselor beginning in Summer 2018. I continued my experience as a camp counselor by deciding to work at an overnight summer camp in the Poconos Mountains. Throughout this time I gained exposure to many disabilities, special needs, and accomodations for children and would be more than willing to continue this experience. I have decided to change Read more route this summer and am looking for babysitting opportunities for preschool aged children or younger for a family or two here in Webster/Penfield!
